Elsewhere: March 2014 Diamond overview

And, relatively quickly this month, Diamond has the first look at their March numbers, and Comichron has the usual summary and some analysis. Expect full numbers early next week. Of the numbers we have so far (only rankings of the Top 10), I'm most surprised by how well SILVER SURFER did among the comics, and that $60 STRAY BULLETS volume among books. Also curious about the high rankings of that backlist MARVEL MASTERWORKS volume in the Top 10, which is unusual, and if that means we'll see a flood of backlist entries for that line on the chart like we got for other Marvel books last month. I don't think so, it might be some promotion related to the Spider-Man movie coming out (turns out to be the biggest surge of another backlist flood, including 25 Masterworks books).
